In 2013, the founding group of five left secure career paths to start Symplicity Designs. Each came with unique skill sets and rallied around a common aim – Make the world a better place, one organization at a time, focused here in Atlantic Canada.
The team set out with 3 main objectives to help the region:
Help large businesses maintain their competitiveness on a global scale. In Atlantic Canada, we tend to see the biggest employers through a harsh lens. What we fail to realize is the very fact that they keep their knowledge jobs here in the region is critical to the region’s prosperity.
Help small and medium sized businesses grow. 80% of all jobs created in the private sector come from the 20% of SME’s going through growth.
Help the government create more value with less. You would be hard pressed to find a group of more passionate and dedicated leaders than those responsible for guiding the public services.
By the end of our first year in business it became clear that we could not simply train others to improve, innovate, and grow. Symplicity needed to grow.
Over the last six years Symplicity Designs has transformed into the top organizational design firm in Atlantic Canada with over 30 employees. We are proud to train, teach, and lead change with all kinds of different organizations that call Atlantic Canada home.
